a book bench on Greenwich Pier, another in the Books about Town series, depicting Samuel Pepys' Diary. It's said he sent his goods by boat to nearby Deptford, and himself, his gold and his wife to Woolwich to wait out the conflagration. I surprised myself by going to Greenwich to see a movie - "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" - lots of action and fun. I've not seen any of the other Apes movies and enjoyed this, only had to hide my eyes a few times!!!
