After the harvest

The harvest seems early this year and by the look of the fields it will be a cracker this year.

Jane and I went on a 29 mile bike ride this morning and saw this field on our way so we came back this evening to see the sunset.

The bike ride was a bit of a fiasco as I had a puncture in a village as far from home as I could possibly be. No problem - I can fix that. WRONG! My saddle bag was empty having put all my tubes and tools in another bag when we were in Yorkshire.

Luckily a passing cyclist was really helpful and gave me a new inner tube. He refused to take any money for it - what a star!
