Blue

After another warm day we went for one of our favourite walks through nearby fields and woods. Although the sunset itself was beautiful, with all the traditional pink and orange hues, I almost prefer this blue sky, displayed well after the sun went down. I love how this time of year it still stays light for a long time after the sun has set.

The clouds look a lot more angry in this picture than they really were. They also look heavy with rain, but despite promises of rain all weekend, we only had a short time of rain on Saturday. The gardener in me is longing for rain and plenty of it!
