So we went to pick up the hire van in the morning, only to find the previous users had topped the tank up with petrol instead of diesel. Cue some hasty re-negotiations to secure another van (from another hire company).

Eventually we got on our way arriving at Andy's mum's in Belmont, Bolton later that afternoon.

This photograph is in the car park of Ocean Palace Restaurant where we didn't eat because it was full of final year primary school children! We beat a hasty retreat to the Naga Indian which was much quieter.
