Cadaques Selfie

We didn't leave the hotel till we walked round the bay for dinner tonight to our favourite Cadaques restaurant, and one of our favourite restaurants anywhere if the truth be known. Casa Nun has no Michelin stars or anything like that, but very good quality local food cooked simply and served well. We've been going for 23 years and it's never failed. The owner is Paco, the 'waitress' (but oh so much more) is Suzanna, and Paco's wife Amaya was one of the architects for the rebuild of our Barcelona house in 2002. Suzanna, the oh-so-much-more-than-a-waitress is American and makes the absolutely delicious desserts and she's lived in Cadaques since since 1974.

The rest of the day we relaxed. I'm enjoying Peter May's book 'The Blackhouse' on my kindle. I read by the pool and then in the shade on the terrace. Bb was happily deleting photos from his ipad. We had breakfast and then pan con tomate with anchovies for lunch (with a pause in-between!). I made a start at looking at material from my August 2013 course in Barcelona to see how much could be adapted for this year.

My blip is a selfie taken just before going into Casa Nun for dinner.
