Time was spent playing with a magnifying glass today whilst on Granny Duty

The small circular area which has extra magnification proved popular

Did think about trying to recreate the experiment where a piece of paper is lit using only the magnifying glass and the strong sunlight outside

Decided against it - didn't have the answers to the why and how questions that would have been posed by 4yo - science isn't an elementary subject to me
