Nags
Now here’s another of those funny things…why are horses called Nags?
The Boss has explained that nagging is what may happen when he doesn’t cooperate the first time with a UOP ( unlisted other person) but what’s that got to do with a horse? Horses don’t appear to nag either they just stand by fences and provide grrreat images when photographers drive by. It’s a puzzle.
We caught this in the morning as we had a quick explore into The Matukituki Valley again and I was NOT allowed out of Business class ‘Cos………..
Well right!
The Boss did this very interesting experiment today when he took this picture from the camera and sent it to his iPad. Using Snapseed he touched it up and then returned to Lightroom on his PC and did the same. He then sent the iPad image back to lightroom on his PC and compared the results.
For the answer to all this please send cheese to PO Box WOOF…Wanaka New Zealand …..Oh…WHAT…Ok OK Ok I am instructed to tell you…curses!
The Snapseed result was more dynamic but noisier. What does this mean in real life. Well if you were posting to Blip no one would notice. If you were printing it A3+ you just might on close examination. If this was projected on a large screen someone in the front row would mutter “Hmmm, bit noisy?”
The Moral to this?
Many things photographic are not based on “Real Life” situations but on the expectations of photographers with large high quality monitors and The Next time he travels he won’t bother taking a laptop.
Which image is posted…..Ah, you may well ask that BUT I could not possibly comment.
Ref…House of Cards.
Gee Up Neddy!
