River Mission for The Lake Clinic #Cambodia

IMPACT's local partner, the Lake Clinic, takes healthcare by boat to people living in floating villages on the vast Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia. This photo comes from a river mission where 174 patients were screened.

Our team told us it was a very busy mission. "Now at river have many scabies patients and skin problem patients. We are teaching them how to clean the skin and how to control the scabies."

Health care is virtually non-existent in these rural communities so when our team moor up there is high demand for our help.

Last year the Lake Clinic reached over 14,000 people living in the floating villages around the lake providing medical assistance to people who would otherwise have no access to health care.
