It's changed a lot since I used to commute into it many moons ago... All very smart and shiny now.

Spent an interesting day at a networking event for emerging translators. Lots of food for thought. I need to get better at networking, though.

Met a friend for Tapas near here afterwards, then made it back to the village in time to join the book club meeting at the pub. Pretty shattered by the end of the day, so arriving home to discover a spotlessly clean kitchen and a large bunch of beautiful flowers was just the tonic required.

Meanwhile... Mr G was on daddy duty and escorted our son to his first school sports day. I'd like to say he survived intact and didn't fall prey to the curse of the dads' race. I'd like to, but honesty prevents me from doing so...
