A butterfly flapped its wings.....
It's a green veined white. They all are - that's all the whites around here just now. I wouldn't have blipped it but it was the context, on the lavender, against the terraccota. I like that, the way a butterfly can complement the colours in your garden. Just in passing, I saw a terraccota Roger Federer the other day.
That terrible news from last week and the aftermath has been weighing on my mind so I did a note about it on my original Donkin Life blog. Sorry, but it's not light fare. Maybe I worry too much, but the world is smaller now and things that happen thousands of miles away, well you don't need to know chaos theory to feel the draught from a butterfly.
