What's that?

I was sat reading the paper this afternoon with the patio door open when I was aware of something black flash past my head, I turned to look and there was a starling doing circuits of the lounge with Jinxy sat watching in amazement!

Before I could catch it it tried to fly out again through the patio door but unfortunately chose the side that was shut, knocking himself out. It was still alive so I carried it onto the patio and left it in the shade with Jinxy watching.

He then sat and watched it until it came around and flew off. The picture is of them both, as you can see the boy is not to sure as to what his actions should be!!!
