Sunny Edinburgh

Princes Street Gardens on a day far sunnier than forecast. I have a theory that weather forecasters are deliberately pessimistic, as people will very rarely complain if the weather is better than forecast. It could also have something to do with Michael Fish and the hurricane. I for one was quite happy to change my plans to make the most of the weather, and I don't think I was alone.
