nothing's better than a soak!

Day Three of the holidays...and all is well. Zachary helping at his school introducing the new (as in September) Year 7s on how it all works at the summer school and Sienna at Ballet School - where she sort of missed the point that after two days she was supposed to perform and instead insisted on compering the final show?! Anyway...

So tonight she has a friend over for a sleepover and they are busy making tiny wee loom band things for tiny wee dolls! That was after a splash in the paddling pool which was bracing due to the fresh water but with this weather will be very warm within a day or two as this 'heatwave' continues.

As for us adults we worked and worked and worked - the first Kendal Mountain Festival 'On the Edge' festival happens this weekend and we are making it happen...
