Posh Frocks

Another London day trip, this time to check out wedding dresses with the niece and her entourage. An appointment at a bridal boutique allowed her to try on 12 or possibly 13 posh frocks and for us to share our opinions. As there were 6 of us this took some time! (This was a sneaky shot as cameras were strictly forbidden!! )

The Mother of the Bride and I left her and the four Best Women mulling over designs and fabrics with the help of a vat of gin and headed home to cool down. Today has been a hot one!

The market for wedding dresses is more often than not led by emotion and aspiration rather than rational decisions and financial constraints.
