Flower Pot Man

We were invited by a club member Steve to participate in some orienteering technique training in the White Horse Woods. Due to undergrowth there have not been very many opportunities to compete. As we will be competing in the week long Lakes 5days orienteering at the beginning of August we both felt it would be beneficial.

Unfortunately parts of the wood have recently been thinned so the going was tougher than expected. However we both felt it really was worthwhile - although glad we had brought plenty of fluid.

On the way home I spotted this Flowerpot man in Yorkshire flag colours. Just couldn't resist grabbing a picture.
