Where?

Spent a good hour looking up hotels on Tuesday evening. I'll be in London twice next month and one of those trips will happily coincide with my birthday. I've a training course on the cards but also planning some lovely social activities. I'm going to splurge on a hotel for a couple of nights and got stuck into lastminute.com's secret hotels and then priceline.co.uk. Both failed to bring me the wonderful bargains they promised. Top tips greatly appreciated.
