A fabulous evening

My day off started very early to take Mr. C to Preston station to catch the train to Yeovil. Before 9 I was back home having done some shopping, weeded the drive, done washing and hung it on the line, a bit of sewing and walked Peggy around the field.
The afternoon was very quiet, but I went for a lovely picnic at Devil's Bridge with Carol and then for a coffee at our local service station on the way home. Not a bad place to sit and enjoy the evening sun!
Unfortunately Mr. C has just informed me that his train out of Euston has been delayed due to an incident. Can't see me collecting him until 1 ish and a 7 am work start tomorrow means it's going to be another interesting day.
