A Thistle, In Close-up

We were invited by a friend of ours, to have a look around his property that he is currently renovating and my ... what a property and grounds, he even owns the field adjacent to his huge garden!

Whilst my husband and our friend went for a walk in this field, I stayed back and took this image.

We were then shown around the inside of his house - so many rooms, I would easily get lost, and so many projects, inside and outside.
