Fiona - MBFEF

I saw especially happy to slot into Fiona's schedule before she caught her train this afternoon.

She spent the weekend with Nikki and got up to all kinds of fun boating, sitting in the park, picking and eating blackberries, visiting a new church, picnics, Waitrose complimentary coffee, knitting and navigating the Tube before meeting and catching up with me Monday morning after breakfast.

We met at Victoria station as it was convenient for us both to get to and spent a good couple of hours in a Costa Coffee nursing a latte and a chai with some fruit and nuts. We spoke of good times has, friends we knew and what we have both been getting up to since we last saw each other. It was lovely to see her, my best friend ever forever.

As I left Fiona in the Victoria line platform before she went to the British Library, we promised to meet up again when Luke and I are home next week and I headed off to work.

A fairly steady Monday despite a small delivery and some good issues resolved and organised which is good.

Today I am grateful for good times and chats with my best friend, no matter how much time passes between meetings, we are always the best of friends continuing right where we left off.
