Mandela Day

A little late but as schools were closed on the day we delayed our event so everyone could take part.

What a fabulous day with great kids eager to join in with the fun taking place.

Our dancer started off the day followed by a magician and then some Kwaito stars that got the kids to frenzy levels before they had lunch and then headed for home.

Meanwhile the volunteers created a fantastic veggie garden while others painted and repaired furniture. A team put together lunch for almost 350 people.

Food parcels and party bags were part of the goodies the kids took home.

Putting these events together make me realise just how lucky I am to do the job that I do.

I hope Madiba would have approved!
