Dahlia

Blipped this lovely dahlia which is actually my back door stop. I didn't think it would come to much this year, as Bill kept sleeping in the pot in the spring. However, he was clearly incubating the best flower it's ever had.

Bill is back to the vet tomorrow. His hip came out again today, so he will be having surgery now. No one is very sure about how such an old cat will respond to this procedure, but as the alternative is to put him down I think he deserves another chance
