Scanned

This feels like a little bit of a cheat as this photograph wasn't actually taken by me today; in fact it's of me, with my grandparents, 45 years ago. I made the image today though, using a scanner, so I think (hope!) it counts. I'm working my way through the slides and negatives we have in our house – my father was a keen photographer and I have three siblings plus assorted nieces, nephews and cousins, so there are thousands of images. Once I've finished scanning, I'm going to weed out the best, retouch them where necessary and make my mum a photo book.

I'd never seen this shot before today; I love it.
