3 Mermaids

Good buffet breakfast this morning. We got picked up from the hotel by minibus to take us to the harbour to take a boat around the Whitsunday Islands. We had 5 Italian people, two Irish girls and a American guy on our boat. We stopped off for a snorkel first. The snorkelling was really bad at the start as the sun wasn't out so the water wasn't so clear but it came out slightly and got to see some amazing fish. Perinthian Islands in Malaysia were far better. Boat ride to white haven beach. Such an incredible beach. We had lunch there that the guy on the boat organised. So many off the big lizards kept coming to steal our food. One of them nearly chased me. The Italian boys were so scared which was so funny as they were quite big boy but acted rather wimpy. We walked up to the lookout point before sitting on the beach. Lovely white sand and turquoise sea. Two nice Irish girls who were on our boat. They knew Rob MT who I met in Noosa briefly! Took the boat back and past all the islands.
Did a quick shop for food and drink for tonight. Had another salad for supper like last night with a bottle of bubbly on the balcony.
