Tee up a Cabbage

The light falls across a new prairie. We walk among the greenhouses and the tidy rows of vegetables. This was where duffers and golf carts once roamed. Rye replaced the fairways. Compost filled the sand traps.

There are no golf bags on Saturday morning, only gardeners picking cabbages and harvesting kale.
