Lazy day today walking up Mount Iron then a little road trip up the Cardrona Valley and a look at the Southern Hemisphere Proofing Grounds at Snow Farm.

This is a facility where car and tyre manufactures come to New Zealand during the Northern Hemisphere summer to test tyre and vehicle performance and development in ice and snow conditions.

I asked the driver of this car if it was ok to take a blip and he was more than happy to oblige. Not sure what type of car it is but it had more laptop computer screens inside than you could count on one hand.
