The Bungle Bungles

This is one of the most spectacular places, both from our helicopter flight and seeing it up close when walking amongst it. I sat with the open door looking right down on it - there were only 3 of us and the pilot so we saw lots. The banded domes conglomerate, reddish orange with black bands. We had several walks, one into a canyon which was very narrow and pretty though not as stunning as Antelope Canyon in Arizona, one of the most picturesque for shapes and colours. We had a lovely view at sunset over the area. A stunning day.
