I was given a ticket to the opening ceremony last night. Completely unexpected and very much appreciated (thanks to Liz and team). What an amazing atmosphere and the Red Arrows were one of the highlights. JT was at home, but they flew overhead there too and he says banked in full formation above our house.

I thought the whole night hit the right mark, we were a bit cheesy but laughed at ourselves too. It showed off some of the great things about Glasgow and Scotland but wasn't completely OTT.
