The sun eventually made an appearance late on today.

Settled down to watch how our Scottish brethren were opening the Commonwealth Games only to be interrupted by Tom coming in after managing to split his head on the trampoline.

A bit of surreptitious snipping with scissors and Grandad applying all of his medical skills meant that a trip to hospital was avoided.

Think the Lego Movie DVD managed to perk him up somewhat.
