Lakefront

Took a stroll from work at lunch time - and it was great to get out of the office (thanks Blipfoto for the motivation).

It was a lovely mid winter day - funny what you see and hear as you stroll along - apart form the tourists taking snaps and the small children chasing seagulls, I walked past a car parked in a car park near the public conveniences and overheard a man on the phone - the conversation went like this " the lady that did it before got it all wrong man, its a boy" and then out of ladies comes his wife, looking about 7 months pregnant. I wonder if that was welcome news or not, either away - it is what it is - but must have come as a surprise !!

There wasn't a lot happening around the lakefront - but the Volcanic Airways helicopter was just coming in to land, dropping off and picking up another group of tourists for a flight around the Bay of Plenty.
