'Race against Bolt'

For anyone around here not attending one of the events there is plenty to see and do.

Lots going on in the City with the number of Street Performers expanding rapidly. Then the Merchant City Festival has just started and although its just the first day there was a lot happening when I passed through. It promises to get bigger and better the next few days. And at Glasgow Green there is the Live Zone with something for everyone, and best of all its free!

This was in the Live Zone - a race track where people can go up and race against a film of Usain Bolt - running along on the screen beside them. They get instruction on how to use the Blocks and get a flying start but its still a tall order to keep up with Usain.

I decided to give it a miss today as I didn't want to embarrass Mr Bolt so early in the games!!

(p.s. I had a better shot of this but Bolt was going so fast part of his head ended up out of shot even with a 1/500th sec shutter speed!)
