make it ring...

I am so blest to live in this age of constant, available communication.

when mine were little, it was a luxury to call my Mom once a month and talk for 10 minutes. They made one visit on vacation in 3 1/2 year. And when we could finally afford to visit them, we made it a one way ticket! and drove "home". I fly home to see mine (& my grands!) two or three times a year and they visit us once a year or so.

and yet I would love to hear the phone ring about now...
