A Flash Gordon morning...

Another day when the sky looked like something from sci-fi film. Even better was that it was 7.15 and daylight was nearly there!! I could smell the countryside (and not those 'special' smells!!) and have been doing so more lately. I was wondering why?
Is it because my townie sinuses have only just cleared?
Spring is nearer and the smells come out then?
The smells are less in the winter?
I don't expect any answers by the way - but there's my thought!
