saltaire from Harden Moor

the temperature in the office (glorified cupboard!) reached 34 degrees C, 94 degree F today, so by the time I got home I was frazzled. I can't moan about high working temperatures as Mr H obviously worked in much higher ones, but he did at least have protective clothing and didn't have to maintain it for 9 hours!

This is leading up to:- was I pleased to get up on Harden Moor this evening with Mr H and Reg for a nice sedate walk. The views were lovely if a bit hazy, and it is always lovely to see Salts Mill from up on high. It must have been a marvel to watch it be built from the heights of the moor. Leeds is in the far background.

Still too hot, but after all it is July.

Just noticed the photo from last year. Virtually the same photo was one of the options for today. Wildflowers at almost exactly the stage as last year.
