Dinner

Lovely to be dining with Auntie Christine tonight, the perfect meal for another scorching hot day with 10 ingredients from her own garden. Delicious!

We had a great drive up the A9, it felt like we were the only ones heading north and the weather was of course glorious! We stopped for lunch at House of Bruar and after sitting outside had a wander through the different shops and treated myself to a colourful cotton tunic that was in the sale as well as some fresh strawberries, cherries and strawberry tarts for Christine. It was a lovely surprise to find my cousin Brendan still here, I haven't seen him for 12 years!

We all walked down to the shore then sat outside with our dinner and chatted til the sun went down. Just a perfect day!
