Diving into the Commonwealth

My team and I went on tour today.

First stop was Glasgow Green to meet Young Scot and make seed balls which we hung from a rather large iron Highlander. Don't ask where on the Highlander we hung them.

Next, a wee half a lager and a spot of lunch in the sun.

Onto Trongate to Beyond the Finish Line where we did something called an Audioboo. The lovely girl edited out the bit where we I snorted after saying, 'Seed Balls'.

Then onto Glasgow Cathedral to see the beautiful flowers. Lovely, fragrant and very colourful.

Last on the tour was Pride House. We visited their fantastic space and met James who gave us a wonderfully warm welcome and allowed us to lounge about on some massive beanbags and catch our breath.

Back to the office then out again to the Fruitmarket. The Fruitmarket is hosting a University of Stirling 'Hosts and Champions' exhibition. Basically tonnes of sporting memorabilia. Tonight was the launch and I had the honour of meeting Sir Peter Heatly, a Commonwealth gold medal winning Scottish diver. Sir Peter has been involved in 17 Commonwealth Games, either as a competitor or as a member of the federation. What a man. Chuffed to bits to meet him.

Finished off the day with a blast of Esperanza at Brunswick Street then a bbq.

I'm done in...roll on tomorrow though. I might meet Pam Hogg tomorrow!
