Time warp?

The Balmoral clock - or North British clock as I still think of it - is usually 3 minutes fast so that those heading for the trains in Waverley Station down below get there in good time.

A year or so ago a power cut stopped it but I've no explanation for its time this evening. I'd headed in to town to pick up our daughter who'd spent the day at Glasgow 2014 at the women's hockey- great day though there was standing room only on the train back.

Her train was due in just before 8pm so when I looked up at the clock and saw the time I was thrown. So much so I checked and put the date / time stamp on - something I usually avoid.
