When I Grow Up....

Went out his morning to see the 'Scarborough Spa Express' - only to find the steam loco had been replaced by this diesel.

It was on the way south from York passing through Church Fenton. I took some photos anyway - and in this one I just like the way the little boy, dwarfed by the loco, was waving at the crew and the passengers.

Was chatting to the boy's dad a few minutes earlier and he was saying the lad was train mad.
