Come rain or come shine....

...we will have a good time at the weekend.

We have small family gathering planned for the weekend. We very much hope that we will be able to get out into the garden, so today I spent some time erecting a large gazebo which can provide protection from the sun (if the day is like today) or shelter from the rain (if the weather changes for the worse).

As you can see, my wife is helping me with the construction: she is sitting in a chair reading out the instructions while I'm on my knees fitting the components together. All normal, then.
