Bring it on!

What a fantastic spectacle from start to finish! I think the live show may have been a bit different from what was on TV e.g. we had no presenters talking over what was happening on stage. I really enjoyed the sort of kitsch review of Scotland's heritage from Andy Stewart to the Loch Ness Monster and Tunnocks tea cakes, but I suspect some of it may have been incomprehensible to non-Scots. Although I couldn't understand why John Barrowman was chosen to appear; there must be more entertainers with more relevance to Scotland and Glasgow.

It was difficult to decide which of the 200 + pics to post as the scenes were all spectacular , but I thought this one of the athletes' oath was probably apt.
