Leaver's Assembly

At school for Ally's Leavers Assembly. Each child received a certificate with a statement written by their teacher:

Wow! You have had a really successful time here at this school and are leaving having achieved some amazing academic levels. These have been earned through hard work built around a competitive spirit which will serve you well in the future.

Your sense of humour and one liners are the thing of legend and will be really missed next year. The visual humour you have included in your portrayal of Augustus is fantastic and has kept us all entertained.

I am sure that it will not be long until we hear that you have broken the world record for the number of books read!

Good luck for the future - I am sure that you will add to your many achievements.

Once I'd dried my eyes (the children sang - gets me every time) I joined Lily's class for a picnic and playing at Kimberley Park, then met MrRoly, Bella and Clare for a cheeky Killigrew lunch before collecting the 3 children plus extras just after 3.

This evening has all been very calm - a bit of rain because it's finally the holidays - and we enjoyed an impromptu Family Film Night with "Holes".
