Stars of Track and Field

The audience onstage at the end of Belle and Sebastian's set christening the reopening of Kelvingrove Bandstand, part of the festival of arts events taking place during the Games. They finished just before the start of the opening ceremony.

Most of Belle and Sebastian's songs were written within half a mile of the venue, and they are such an important part of the fabric of the city. I'd not seen them play in Glasgow before, and it was very special to dance and cheer at this place, on this day.
