The Friendly Games @Glasgow2014

I'm not even sure what was going in here but this chap was part of a wee random procession which I encountered in Glasgow's Merchant City, which is hosting its own Festival for the duration of the Commonwealth Games.
I was out and about the kids today in Glasgow and the buzz is something else.
The weather helps. I just heard a BBC presenter say that the weather has 'shocked ' the locals and it's true. It's like being in a southern European city.
Pure dead boiling!! Especially for us gingers. Not complaining though.
The staff and volunteers are really engaged, helpful and friendly. Didn't encounter any jobsworthiness whatsoever. Quite the reverse.
Everyone involved, please take a bow. These really are the Friendly Games and People do Make Glasgow!
