Birthday Surprise

My dad leads a group called Singing Saints who get together once a month and sing the old hymns they love. Miss Jane plays piano to accompany them. It is one of the delights of my soul to hear her play because she plays so beautifully. The July get-together fell on her birthday, so we surprised her with cupcakes and punch and a bag full of birthday cards. In this picture, we are all singing "Happy Birthday" to her as she walked in the door----a capella, of course!....
