Harling Park Pagoda

Harling Park, nestled under the Wither Hills to the south of Blenheim, is one park I have not visited for some time. There is a special area in the park which will give rise to a number of blips through the seasons. Today is a winter view of part of the Japanese garden in a corner of the park. This was established as a joint project involving our Sister City, Tendo and our Marlborough District Council. There is an extensive water feature which was officially opened, if that is the right word, by a delegation from Tendo and our own Council and Sister City Committee in 2005. I remember the occasion well…it was a very special day.
