Bit blue today

I'm interested in exploring self-portraiture.
This is an extremely lazy one, shot in our bathroom mirrow and then messed with in Lightroom.
I'd like to know more about this genre of photography, but mostly about the technical aspects of setting up simple shots, and ideas for those shots. I don't want to do complex arty sots with sets, though I do love what others do along those lines.
