Lifting..............

........Mist


This morning Havelock was shrouded in mist, lifting about half an hour into our day on the Pelorus Mail Boat trip from Havelock, Marlborough, NZ

The weather was perfect
The sea was calm.
The landscape was interesting and included many mussel farms and a salmon farm
The wildlife magical
- Two pods of dolphins (different species)
- Gannets
- The usual gulls, shags, penguins, etc.
And of course, mail and groceries were delivered to various outlying families.
Our skipper & owner of this boat, Jim, was the perfect host.


It was a fantastic day – the highlight for me, had to be the first group of dolphins which included mothers and their babies.
We definitely saw nature at its best today.
