Larger..
This is a larger shot of the painting seen in yesterday's blip. The large painting was done by our daughter Nina ...it looks a bit like The Olgas which are a famous outcrop of rocks ( mountains) near Uluru but it may just be something she thought of herself. I will have to ask.
The little painting is of a sunflower done by Nina's daughter Maddy when she was 3. Her paternal grandfather is an artist and she has grandfather time each Friday when they muck around with computers and arty stuff. She is now 5 years old and miles ahead of me in that department.
The next painting on the left was done by a reasonably well known artist of the little cottage I used to have as a work office when I was doing community work. When I left he painted this as a farewell gift.
The flowers are lasting well, even though we have the central heating on. We have gas underfloor heating, other people used electric or wood fires.
This shot was taken from the lounge /family room looking towards the kitchen and dining area and then onto the bedrooms through the door. I am half watching a re run of last nights Tour de France and half blipping on my iPad. Weekend coming up...hooray.
