Glasgow 2014

Gorgeous it was. And such a great buzz around the City with the Commonwealth Games and Merchant City Festival going on.

Staff development day (cough, cough), soaking up the atmosphere, the rays and the alcohol wandering around the streets. Can't remember seeing the place looking as glorious as it was in the sunshine today. Spontaneous cheering in the pubs as medals were won by Team Scotland as events were watched on big screens. Pretty sure it would've been different in the pissing rain, but there's such a cheery vibe everywhere even a bit of more usual Scottish weather couldn't dampen that.

Back on a busy train to a much quieter Stirling for some final refreshments and the contractually required chips and curry sauce.

Definitely heading back for some more of that I think.
