What big teeth you've got?

An earlier start again for me as it was going to be warm. So I was in my usual spot just after 8am. I'd hardly done half of my walk and nearly an hour has passed by all due to this fella - a male Banded Demoiselle.

He was just catching flies and sunning himself and so allowed me to take some shots from all angles. Some were much sharper than this one but he has such character here. This made me smile as he seems to be bearing his teeth or even attempting a smile?

I had a couple hours of fun taking shots of lots of insects - pure indulgence.
