Bits and pieces
Another scorching day but a strong wind to go with it. The sun has dropped in the sky so our south facing back garden is in shade in the afternoons due to the height of the lime trees. Quite a blessing at the moment.
I had a walk this morning, stopping off at the postbox to send a card to my cousin who has just had a hip operation. I'm expecting to be bombarded with emails stating she's bored.
The hedging bordering the front gardens is Escallonia, which, naturally, does not flower because it has to be cut. The neighbour's hedge is fast dying off due to an infestation of whitefly. I hadn't realised it could be so devastating and are reluctantly spraying in the hope of keeping it at bay.
Not particularly inspired and nothing's jumped out at me, blipwise, so it's a collage taken on this morning's stroll. You may spot my favourite tree in there, although the other one is a close second.
